I am JoAngela Hinton. I’m 18 years young and currently attending college for early childhood education. I love working with children and people with special needs. I feel everyone needs a person in their life that makes them feel important, appreciated, and loved. As a teacher my goal is to make all students shine their brightest. I have 6 horses, 2 dogs, and a big family. I grew up riding horses with my family, mainly my dad. He and I are thick as thieves.
Volunteering is important to me! I currently volunteer at Blue House and Dobson elementary. Blue house is a unique place for people with special needs to create art and music together. We get to know each other through our differences. An amazing group of volunteers and students that I enjoy working and growing with. At Dobson Elementary, I help in a pre-K classroom.
Hobbies of mine include horseback riding, painting, hiking, kayaking, and modeling. I love being around people and animals! However, with my painting I like to be alone and feel at peace. It’s how I get my creative juices flowing. No distractions!
As a model I enjoy partnering with creative developers and project managers to help turn a vision into a creation. Modeling can represent all facets of life from beauty, strength and to everyday life. When I choose a product, service or idea to work with my priority is to represent myself and the business in a positive light. One that demonstrates women as strong, confident and empowered. No matter age, ethnicity, or disabilities.
